Sponsored & hosted by the Harstine Island Community Club

Friday June 14, 2019

Gathering at the Latimer’s Landing auxiliary parking-lot for staging from 3:30 -4:15 pm

Parade begins at 4:30

It’s a modern take on the original Opening of the Bridge Parade in 1969. We have asked the clubs, organizations, & communities to participate by decorating floats representing the respective clubs. Everyone is encouraged to choose a special a vehicle to showcase. Some ideas are antique/vintage, convertibles, trucks, tractors, boats & trailers, bicycles, fire truck, golf-carts, etc. To leadoff the parade we are having the newly formed Pioneer Middle School Marching Band!

People can line the sidewalk of the bridge or walk behind a float to wave & cheer on the parade & take pictures, too!

Following the parade there is a potluck & festivities at the Harstine hall.
